Double drawn is the difference between a bundle that tapers and a bundle that does not. The short strands are removed by hand, twice, so the weft is as thick at the tip as it is at the root. It is slow, wasteful work — several bundles of ordinary hair are consumed to make one — and it is the only way to get a blunt, heavy end without cutting.

Why it costs more
You are paying for the hair that was discarded. A double drawn bundle holds noticeably more weight than a single drawn bundle of the same length, which is why fewer are needed for a full install.
