What temple hair means
Temple hair is hair given up as part of religious observance in South India, then sold by the temples themselves. It is the origin of most genuinely raw Indian hair on the market, and it is prized for a practical reason rather than a romantic one: it is unprocessed, uncoloured, and typically comes from a single donor.
Why single donor is the whole argument
Hair from one head shares one cuticle direction and one set of characteristics — density, diameter, lift response. Blend two donors and you get strands running against each other, which is what tangling actually is at a microscopic level. No conditioner fixes opposing cuticles. This is why we will not blend, and why bundles are matched from the same donor batch.
Sorting is where quality is won or lost
Incoming hair is sorted by length and by direction, by hand. It is slow and it is the single largest cost in a raw bundle. Trading houses skip or shortcut it, which is where “remy” hair that mats at month three comes from. We do it because there is no version of this product that survives skipping it.
Buying direct from the factory
Most raw Indian hair reaching a US buyer has changed hands two or three times — collector, trading house, exporter, importer. Each hand adds cost and removes accountability, and by the time a problem appears there is nobody left who touched the hair.
We are the factory. Wefting, texturing, keratin tipping and colour all happen under our own quality control, and every bundle is inspected individually before it leaves — not sampled by batch. That is a claim we can make because we are the ones holding the hair.

We publish this because verifiable is worth more than impressive. A registered entity with a GSTIN and a CIN can be checked; an anonymous “direct from the source” claim cannot.
What we will not claim
We do not name the temples we buy from, publish supplier counts, or describe the collection process in detail. Some of that is commercial; some of it is respect for how the hair is given. What we will tell you is the part that affects your install: one donor, one direction, nothing stripped, nothing added.

All the hair in a bundle comes from one person, so cuticle direction and characteristics are consistent throughout.
Do you process or chemically treat the hair?
No acid bath, no silicone coating, no blending on our raw Indian lines. Texturing and colour are done on request, on hair that still has its cuticle.
